MYLES PADACA TALKS “PRO SURFING” TONIGHT (SEPT 23) SURFER, THE BAR – 8PM

Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 – North Shore’s own Myles Padaca will offer the inside scoops on pro surfing at Surfer, The Bar tonight, at 8pm. Attendance is free. Surf groms of all ages welcome (U21 must be accompanied by an adult). Myles is one of Hawaii’s top surfers and coaches, working with rising stars and the Nike team. This is a rare opportunity to gain insight from an individual who has knowledge of every facet of the sport.

Padaca will be honored this winter as one of only 13 surfers to ever win a Vans Triple Crown of Surfing title during the 30-year history of the series. His talk tonight will cover his own career path; his experience as a pro surfer and Triple Crown champion; how he mastered surfing Sunset – the most challenging wave on Earth; as well as coaching and professional tips. Q&A time will follow.
